The independent variables of my model are only measured indirectly. To be more precise, there are 8 different treatments with different combinations of the 3 independent variables with 2 levels each and the baseline treatment. I want to run a regression, but I cannot enter the independent variables because I have only measured the level of the dependent variable throughout the 8 different treatments. Can I run the regression by including the baseline treatment as dependent and the 8 different treatments as independent variable although all measure the level of my dependent variable under different conditions?
I have asked 100 people about their general willingness to share private toys via a digital sharing platform (baseline). In addition, I have asked about their willingness to share when there is free shipping vs shipping costs, when toys are cleaned after every use/no cleaning and average high/low rating scores of the borrowers. So there are 3 independent variables which can take 2 levels each which makes 8 different treatments. I would like to run a regression, but I can't enter my independent variables because I have only measured willingness to share throughout the 8 treatments.
Thank you so much for your help!
